CONGRATULATIONS!!!

2007 Mixed Doubles State Championships:
ROME WINS AGAIN!!!

Rome was very well represented in the 2007 State Mixed Doubles Championships recently held in Augusta, Ga.

Teams captained by Jeff Overby,Richard Shiflett, Paul Marks, and Margaret Knight finished 2nd in their divisions, with Margaret Knight's team advancing to the quarterfinals.

Teams captained by Jeff Nance and Severo Avila finished first in their division, advancing to the semi-finals. Severo's team went on to the finals and was a finalist.

The Team captained by Patrick Garrett won their division and the State Championship. They will advance to the USTA Sectional Championships in New Orleans in October.
